After graduating from The University of Tennessee with a major in interior design and a minor in business she spent some time travelling before deciding to settle back down in Birmingham. She started out working in an architectural firm and gained valuable experience in understanding how the different disciplines of a design team come together to make a project come to life. She had always known of Hatcher Design and desired a position there and when one opened up in 2006 she joined the team as a Registered Interior Designer. Rebecca Hatcher is a wonderful mentor and friend that exemplified the practice of interior design.
